NVFR Training

The EASA Night Rating course consists of 5 hours of flight instruction, comprising:

  • 4 hours 30 minutes dual instruction
  • 30 minutes supervised solo flight time
Students are enrolling this course should receive a briefing on night flying prepared by the supervising flight instructor.

Description

The aim of the Night Rating course is to enable the student pilots to operate beyond the civil twilight and carry out flights at night under visual flight rules.

The EASA Night Rating course consists of 5 hours of flight instruction, comprising:

  • 4 hours 30 minutes dual instruction
  • 30 minutes supervised solo flight time
Students are enrolling this course should receive a briefing on night flying prepared by the supervising flight instructor.
Practical Examination (Check-ride)

During the training course there are various check-rides should be completed with a supervising instructor in order to start the next consecutive section. For example, prior the first solo exercise when the student completes at least 3 take-offs and landings with the training aircraft alone, a check-ride should be completed. At the end of the training in order to obtain the Night rating, the applicants should receive a course completion certificate. Based on this certificate the Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority issues a new license with the desired rating. In case of the applicant possesses other than EASA Part-FCL pilot’s license, the supervising authority which issued the license should manage the rating and the issuance of the new papers.
